Silver Trail Yukon Territory

Keno and Faro, Yukon Territory, Canada – 2007. The Silver Trail (Hwy 11) is about 108km (68mi) long and heads north east from the Klondike Highway (Hwy 2) near Stewart Crossing. It passes through Mayo and ends at Keno. The road is paved until just after Mayo then its gravel. The trail got its name because of the number of silver mines that once operated in the area. We returned to Hwy 2 and went as far as the junction with Hwy 4 which we took to Faro, Ross River and then Frances Lake.
